The dimensions of these crimps are 2.0mm copper crimps, 18mm in length.

Copper Crimps best suit European spearguns. When used with the correct crimping pliers, copper double crimps compress to a small diameter and are ideally suited for the small muzzle openings in euro style guns.

Always use the correct size sleeve for the job, and always use the correct crimping tool. Regular pliers will incorrectly crimp the sleeve and result in crushing the mono and severely reducing the breaking strain.

Why change your mono regularly?

The mono on a speargun is one of the most overlooked maintenance jobs by the average diver. We constantly see divers with ratty, cut, frayed, and nicked mono on their guns.

This may be fine for shooting a few bream and smaller reef fish. Although when you go to take that shot on a big jewie, kingfish, mackerel or wahoo — you’re going to wish you had changed your mono.

Suitable for mono 1.8mm and 2mm.
