The Tusa Freedom Ceos Corrective Lenses is a low-profile low volume two window mask. It features the newly developed and revolutionary Freedom Technology delivering superior fit, comfort and performance. The Ceos is one of the first next generation TUSA masks offering this innovative new technology combined with superior design, build quality, materials and frame construction.

Choosing regular corrective lenses or bifocal for your Tusa Freedom Ceos mask:

Negative corrective lenses are for anyone with near-sighted or myopic vision. Therefore, these lenses are best for divers who need glasses to see anything nearby clearly.

Positive corrective lenses are for anyone with far-sighted vision. These lenses are best for divers who normally wear glasses to see better in the distance.  In other words, if you can see things nearby, your camera and gauge, but things in the distance aren’t clear, these lenses are for you.

Bifocal lenses are for gauge reading and for divers who need both distance and near correction at all times. Thus, if you usually wear multifocal or bifocal lenses in your everyday glasses, order bifocal lenses for your mask as well.

Corrective lenses are available in 0.5 diopter increments. Firstly, check the correct strength for your left and right eye from your optometrist’s prescription. Then choose from the drop down menu.

Available corrective lenses:

-1.0 to -8.0 and +1.0 to +4.5

Available bifocals:

+1.0 to +4.5

Freedom Technology:

Each person has a unique facial structure. Every diver can potentially experience some level of discomfort or “pressure” while wearing a typical mask underwater. TUSA engineers wanted to solve these problems. Consequently, they spent several years analysing mask fit, facial bone structure and mouth movement. The result is Freedom Technology, a set of revolutionary new mask features delivering superior fit, comfort as well as  increased performance. Experience Freedom.

Freedom Fit:

Freedom Fit offers a superior fit and level of comfort by utilising three specific design features.

Dimpled Skirt:

Key areas around the forehead and cheek bones have been designed with dimples. These combine to increase the skirt’s softness, flexibility and also skin surface contact. This also greatly reduces leakage and enhances comfort.

Varied Silicone Thickness:

A regulator or snorkel mouthpiece, when in use, can cause areas of the mouth and nose section to distort causing leakage and discomfort. Varied thicknesses of silicone in these key areas reduce leakage and also provide a better fit.

Stability Ridges:

As water pressure increases, a mask will compress inwards toward the face often causing further leakage or discomfort. Therefore, the areas under the cheek bones have been reinforced with stability ridges to minimise this compression maintaining ideal skin surface contact.

Freedom Dry:

Freedom Dry enhances comfort and fit by utilising a revolutionary low friction skirt surface. The skirt fitting line includes a low friction surface that delivers a superior seal. It also  increases the facial area contact patch while significantly reducing excess skin tension. So, the result is a soft and supple feeling mask with a dramatically improved seal.

Expect 3-4 days until dispatch as we need to custom fit your lenses to the mask frame.

Returns:

Your prescription lens mask is a special, custom order and cannot be returned. Please make sure the mask fits your face and the selected diopters are correct.
