• Patented QLR (Quick Lock & Release) Weight Integration System

When purchasing your QLR 4 you may do so with or without Oceanic’s patented QLR Quick Lock & Release System. Consequently, if you choose not to buy them with your BCD, you will have 2 additional storage pockets.  Also, you may add the QLR Weight Pockets at any time.

As a consequence of this system, when you are diving your weights stay in position and do not shift around affecting buoyancy or position in the water. The weight pouches are simple to load and easy to release.

• Fadeless 500 Denier Ballistic Nylon Construction 

The BCD’s air cell is welded from a fadeless 500 denier nylon. Additionally, exterior abrasion points are covered in our 1600 denier ballistic nylon.  If you are extreme diving you will find that this is tough stuff that holds up to years of use.

• Alliance Integrated Inflator 

The QLR 4 is ergonomically designed to be functional and easily used in any dive position.   With the Alliance Integrated Inflator system, simply press a button to produce precise flow for trimming dive attitude or major changes in buoyancy. Also, a large exhaust valve creates a flow rate higher than the inflation rate of the power inflator, thereby improving diver control during ascents.

• Adjustable Cummerbund 

Oceanic’s cummerbund offers up to 8″ of adjustment to fit a wide range of sizes.  Additionally, for further flexibility, the cummerbund may easily be changed to another size. 

• Padded Backpack

Extra heavy duty padding provides comfort both above and below the surface without sacrificing the stability of a hard backpack.

• 2 Large Main Pockets

Enough room to store your torch, extra mask, pocket snorkel, or P.S.D.!

• Optional Air XS 2 Alternate Inflator 

For your diving pleasure, the AIR XS 2 combines the reliability, performance and durability of the SlimLine OCTOPUS and ALLIANCE INFLATOR into one very low profile, streamlined package. The regulator/inflator combination is as small as many BCD inflators alone, with breathing performance superior to many stand-alone octopus regulators.
