The Ocean Hunter 3mm Hood has been made of a high stretch neoprene, allowing you to move without restriction while being protected under the water.  It also has a bib to allow for tucking into your wet suit, ensuring great coverage for the back of your neck.

Tips for choosing the right hood:

First, the fit should never be so loose that you have any gaping happening around your face.  We don’t want to allow the water, especially COLD water to flood in.  This defeats the purpose for having a hood.

In saying that a Ocean Hunter 3mm Hood that is too tight is not great either.   This can be dangerous and cause a lot of discomfort.

So when choosing your gear there are a lot of things to think about, and also remember what might be right for one person but might not be right for you.
