The Aussie Belt Reel is a great back up for your Speargun! Australian made by the Aussie legend Barry Paxman. A belt reel is a great backup in situations where there is a small problem. For instance, a muzzle wrap while on a deep dive or just the fact that a fish has completely spooled your gun reel. With a belt reel, you get another 50m of line to keep.

This reel is machined from a single block of quality nylon. Furthermore, it is fitted with a stainless steel centre pin for durability. The line guide is also stainless steel, so your Spektra or Dyneema line does not fray. The reverse side of Belt Reel comes with stainless steel bracket – click through the images to look at it. The Aussie Belt Reel holds 50m to 60m of 2mm Spectra cord.

The Dyneema line has a 1.9mm diameter and a 308 kg rating, ideal to match your Aussie reel.
